Description |
Pagodas of Sumiyoshi Shrine are expressed on both sides of the Inro in
the Shu-Urushi (bright red lacquer), Maki-e and Urushi-e.
Sumiyoshi Shrine is is famous place for beautiful scenery in Japan.
It is also a beauty spot of Matsu tree grove.
The both Netsuke and Ojime are made from ivory.
The Hotei God (One of the Seven Deities of Good Fortune) is expressed in
engraving.
The shape of the Ojime is called Hanabishi in Japanese.
It means argyle and flower shape.
There are amotions of Urushi lacquer and small cracks on the Inro. |
